Vet
They don't need him. They're perfectly capable of losing the big game without him.
whomper
Although as a Cowboys fan I dislike the Eagles I applaud the way they seem to not be letting this guy push them around.

Scourge
T.O. is not going anywhere. He is going to show up and play or not get paid. It is that simple. He has no leverage at all.
piratesownninjas
I just don't understand how you hold out one year after you sign a huge contract...

No team can sign you unless we say they can... and your mouth and hold out are not exactly making you more valuable as trade bait."
Guest THEbigred
Don't let the door hit you on the way out 890567[/snapback] You kiddin me.....they have his butt in a sling for what, 6 more years? As owner and/or coach I would be very happy to sit on that POS for that entire time and probably wouldn't take even a good trade offer, just outta spite. He's in desperate need of his own medicine. Give him anything but what he wants.

Whipdancer
Maybe someone with more knowledge on NFL contracts can comment... The Eagles own the rights to him for the next 6 years, correct? Regardless of what he wants, it's up the the Eagles to choose to let him go (unless there is some sort of an "out" provision)? If they choose to sit him, they still have to pay him whatever the base is, there simply won't be any performance money paid out? If he chooses to sit, what then?
