  1. Yes, it will be cold and windy at the Giants/Bears game today and it will effect the game a bit. But Eli tends to throw short passes and let the receivers do the work because their O-line doesn't give him much time to throw. So, I wouldn't worry too much about the wind with him.
  2. I targeted Bennett in all of my drafts in the mid rounds and have started him weekly in the leagues I drafted him. The price for Gronk was way too high since he was coming into the year injured. In the Patriots offense, a good 2nd TE puts up TE1 numbers. He was a great pickup by the Pats. The rich get richer.
  3. He was a rookie last year. He actually played well last year even though he was forced into playing LT because of so many injuries. They originally wanted him to get his feet wet at RT and then possibly move to LT.
  4. The O-line is killing this offense. Penalty after penalty killing drives and they aren't giving Eli enough time in the pocket. You can see he doesn't feel comfortable in the pocket because he's expecting to get hit. All of his passes are check downs and short crossing patterns. He hasn't had time to stretch the field with his receivers. Until the O-line starts playing better, Eli will struggle.
  5. Wrong forum newb
  6. I've said it before and I'll say it again. His legacy is tarnished by losing 2 Super Bowls to Eli and the Giants. When all is said and done and he's in the Hall of Fame, those are the failures I will remember him by and use as comparisons to the likes of Montana as one of the greatest QB's ever. This suspension will just be a forgotten footnote.
  7. I was the only one to pick this. Gotta say I'm pretty confident in my pick right about now.
  8. Carolina over Denver
  9. In honor of the new Star Wars movie.... Yo mama so hairy, she went to see Star Wars and everyone screamed, "Chewbacca!!!!!"
  10. What is it with All-time greats playing for Detroit retiring early? All of that losing must really make you want to cut your career short.
  11. Maybe the Browns should have held on to Belichick. I hear he's pretty good. I'm still bitter the Giants chose Ray Handley to succeed Parcells and let Belichick walk.
  12. As a Giants fan, I'm proud to have had Coughlin as the head coach for the past 12 years. It's hard to see a guy like him go. But, realistically, It's a move that needed to be done and one that was only a matter of time the way the past few seasons have gone. I think the Giants definitely need more discipline....but with a player friendly coach. I've always been intrigued by Bill Cowher. I think he would be the perfect fit for this franchise.
  13. Denver got down early and KC's run defense was very good. Recipe for fantasy RB disaster. I, for one, will be looking to buy low this week on Anderson from you owners giving up on him. Like others have said, the schedule gets much easier. I still see Anderson paying off for those patient owners. We knew these first 2 weeks would be tough.

  15. Legacy was already tarnished before all of this by the Giants...twice!!!
