  1. Funny thing is, you're still paying the cable/cellular company a lot of money for strong enough wifi so you can have the ability to stream content on these numerous other apps we subscribe to and pay lots of money for. Do we really save money with this scam?
  2. It's a good thing he's be getting in the endzone regularly, because his catches and yards have been pretty mediocre for a player of his caliber. With the production he's been having this season, it's not too difficult to replace him with someone on your bench.
  3. The OL could be better, but most of those sacks are on Wilson. He holds onto the ball too damn long.
  4. On top of that, the team challenging loses a timeout. This is absolutely effecting the outcome of games on multiple levels. If the aren't going to enforce it, get rid of it!
  5. Even if Gordon plays, I would bet he doesn't stay healthy very long. There is no way he is in game shape. I'd hold onto Ekeler....he'll be an RB1 again soon enough.
  6. The change at OL helped a little against Carolina and Eli was effective. But Philly's DL is a different animal and they shredded the Giants OL all game. He had no time to throw and they were triple covering OBJ, so the only safe throws he had were the checkdown and short slant routes. Eli is not a mobile QB, so with an OL not giving him any time, he's pretty much done. I don't see them benching him in what will most likely be his final year with the team. But I wouldn't doubt he gets injured this year and we see a QB change that way.
  7. If you're in ppr, he's golden though. Eli is captain check down with the OL woes. Barkley had a subpar running game last week, but he caught a ton of passes.
  8. The Ambassador of Quon (From Jerry Maguire )
  9. That's the way this business works. If you hit big time on draft picks, you won't be able to pay them all what they want. I'm sure Landon Collins will be the first big casualty of Beckham's contract. Manning's contract will be off the books in 2 years. Highly doubtful he gets an extension. So, then they'll have money to pay Barkley if he becomes one of the top RB's in the league. With Beckham and Barkley, they just need a game manager at the QB position. Hopefully one of these mid round QB draft picks pans out when Eli is gone so the QB cap hit won't be huge. Davis Webb has looked good other than that 1st preseason game where he was too amped up and overthrowing the receivers. Shurmur really likes him and he's a so called QB guru.
  10. He's probably the most marketable player in the league. He's one of the top young receivers in the history of the game, as far as the numbers he's put up. Fans come to see him and buy merchandise with his name and face on it because he is THE must see talent in the largest market. The Giants know this. It's a huge contract, but when you add it all up, he's worth it to this franchise.
  11. It won't be open on Sundays. The signage will flip and turn into a regular concession stand. But it will be open for events at the stadium on all other days of the week.
  12. Yes, it will be cold and windy at the Giants/Bears game today and it will effect the game a bit. But Eli tends to throw short passes and let the receivers do the work because their O-line doesn't give him much time to throw. So, I wouldn't worry too much about the wind with him.
  13. I targeted Bennett in all of my drafts in the mid rounds and have started him weekly in the leagues I drafted him. The price for Gronk was way too high since he was coming into the year injured. In the Patriots offense, a good 2nd TE puts up TE1 numbers. He was a great pickup by the Pats. The rich get richer.
  14. He was a rookie last year. He actually played well last year even though he was forced into playing LT because of so many injuries. They originally wanted him to get his feet wet at RT and then possibly move to LT.
  15. The O-line is killing this offense. Penalty after penalty killing drives and they aren't giving Eli enough time in the pocket. You can see he doesn't feel comfortable in the pocket because he's expecting to get hit. All of his passes are check downs and short crossing patterns. He hasn't had time to stretch the field with his receivers. Until the O-line starts playing better, Eli will struggle.
