  1. dw - are you shaking your fist at the clouds?
  2. It will be interesting to see 200 pound CB's try to take down 250 pound TE's by pushing them, or wrapping them up and getting dragged.
  3. They should just outlaw tackling. Pretty soon, blocking will be too physical as well.
  4. I like the team. Big fan of their D.
  5. @Dcat - load up with your bookie on the Jets winning the Superbowl!
  6. I think it might depend on where thise 3 go really. I think DJ's 2024 will be less than his 2023 by more than most think.
  7. It's just in your mindset then. You can expect a drop off from last year, but easily slots into your 2/3 WR. New offense, Allen added, it has risk. If you can wait to see where the top 3 rookies go, I would. Godwin/Jeudy are palatable #3's this year at a minimum.
  8. How many years on his contract?
  9. Reports are surfacing that the Bears could have gotten more but had said all along that they weren't going to do Justin Fields dirty, and took his desires into the destination. If this is true, Poles will be a GM players will want to be associated with.
  10. The market is always the market. The current GM could have kept him and he would walk next year. He owes nothing to the old GM or the fans.
  11. So the Bears were fleeced and then there was no perceived value for him. Tootie talks in circles. Darnold said it best many years ago when he was caught saying he was seeing ghosts. Many QB's just won't process the speed of reads. There was more than enough evidence on Fields that he would rarely see the read or throw to the read, or even lead the receiver to the read. I don't necessarily agree with this move, but resetting the QB clock is probably the smart organizational move, so it doesn't really matter what the return is - drafting Fields was a bust, and that was done by the previous GM. I prefer Daniels, not Williams.
  12. I am looking forward to seeing if Harris' playoffs set the tone for a strong fantasy season. I drafted him early on and his game against Cleveland showed us a glimpse.
  13. It looks more and more like the Bears will be drafting Williams. This move leads me to believe they will either trade out of 9 or get stronger on the OL there.
  14. Cousins - once again making out like a King.
  15. Concussions are real. Kick offs through the end zone are equally as real. They need to tweak something.
  16. Wise choice all around. 3 kids and roots there. Makes sense.
  17. I always enjoyed his commentary and felt his opinions were always solid. He will be missed.
  18. Looks like you had a great time.
  19. No doubt they looked tired, but they also play in a base d more often than other teams. When you rarely use pressure, it needs to work when you dial it up. It doesn't help that the Chiefs haven't been called for offensive holding in either of the last 2 Superbowls. Their OL is amazing because they never ever hold.
