Bushey Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 Brooks hasn't been playing too badly considering that I don't think his line has got out of 3 point stance yet in this game. No interceptions, no fumbles--under the circumstances, I consider that a decent game. And he has run well. You forgot to mention that he did a great job not throwing the ball away and moving the chains backwards. I will take an oz of whatever your smoking. The Raiders organization is walking around blind without a cane and they looked like a bunch of monkeys trying to (the really bad word) a football yesterday. Bill Swerski Posted September 12, 2006 Share Posted September 12, 2006 This is what happens when you have a sub par O'line to begin with & then choose as your offensive coordinator a guy who has been running a bed & breakfast for the last 10 years. Wrag on brooks all you want, but when your O'line is holding up like a sieve, you don't keep calling in plays that are seven step drops while your WR is running a route that takes 3 seconds at least. It's called in game adjustments and I didn't see any from the bed & breakfast guy. I totally agree with this. Brooks isn't a good QB (at least not anymore), but that line is a freaking sieve. And that team is comletely undisciplined. Looks like Randy wansn't just talking out of his ass when he said that things weren't going well there. Who was the least team to go 1-15? The '01 Panthers?
