cre8tiff
"The Greatest Show on Turf"? Man, we haven't been that for 3+ years. It could be argued the Rams ceased that after 2001. Man, it is sickening. I think I need to borrow Puddy's

MERLINS
The Rams have single handedly killed my fantasy season.................Damn them. Of course, in the meantime, killed their own season. I took a HUGE chance drafting Bulger along with SJAX and I have been killed. Looks like Pennington from here on out for me.
Bill Swerski
So how much longer is Linehan going to run Bulger and his fractured ribs out there behind a patchwork O-line?

kingfish247
So how much longer is Linehan going to run Bulger and his fractured ribs out there behind a patchwork O-line? What's kind of lost in the Rams' struggles on O is their unrelenting inability to field an adequate professional football defense. They might just have the worst defensive pro scouts in the league with the litany of high pick defensive busts in the past few years. Since '01, 11 picks in the 1st and 2nd round have been for defensive players. Aside from this year's and last year's class, it has yielded only 2 current Rams starters. Throw in Jim Haslett and it's really difficult to understand exactly what they're trying to accomplish on defense... unless their goal is futility. Ramhock
At least they showed up emotionally, yesterday. Ashame that they are so outmanned, though.
malta69
I dont even want to hear the patchwork line or bruised ribs argument. The bottom line is this is a poorly coached football team. Bulger when he had time, had guys open downfield all day. He bounced, overthrew, sailed into the seats...did whatever he could to avoid making a big play yesterday. The ship has officially sailed on the Bulger bandwagon. I really believed they would come out with a ton of emotion and play well too. Unreal

The ribs aren't bruised, they're cracked. And I imagine that it's pretty painful to throw with broken ribs.
BeeR
Then he shoulda been pulled WAY before he was. Or how about not f-ing starting and allowing them to heal? Also love how they were down a ton of pts and OC was still calling HB up the gut for 2 yd gains. Their coaching does suck. Badly. I'm seriously considering cutting Bulger outright and lol @ me for trading for Holt (luckily didn't give up much). I'm glad Troy Aikman and Joe Buck talked about it early in yesterday's game that this defense was a pretender, even though it was ranked #7 coming in. To rank defenses ONLY on yards allowed is ludicrous. When your offense and special teams constantly give up good field position, the other team doesn't have to put up much yardage to score. STL Fan
At least they showed up emotionally, yesterday. Ashame that they are so outmanned, though. You're kidding, right? That team looks as though it has already quit. The only fire I saw was Brian Leonard, and unfortunately for him fire does not equal talent. Or success. Bruce tried to rally the team emotionally and they ignored him.
The Holy Roller
This brings back memories of the Big Red with three consecutive seasons IIRC of 4-9-1. It's always darkest before the dawn, boys. (But if you can pawn off your Rams for something else I'd do it pronto.)
