As a Reggie Wayne owner I like his value at 1.08. Too early for me though. Greg Jennings the 13th WR taken.

 

 

Not saying I agree or disagree, but keep in mind, this league does not require a team to start a RB.

 

 

My thinking here was I gave up alot to get 1.08 and since we don't even need to start 1 RB and I already had MJD at 1.07 I took Wayne whom I really like. Probably should of went Moss but since it is a Dynasty league and Wayne is a few years younger and he does have Peyton at QB and I don't pick again until 5.08

That's tough(5.08). I commented on Wayne at 1.08 because he was the first WR taken. Peyton may play another 10 years so he may be better than Moss. Hard to tell.

Peyton is 32 and the hard thing for me is trying to guage how much longer he will play....i will most likely be giving him a 4 or 5 yr deal which will take him to 36-37yrs old

i made a big push to try and trade for 3.13 but in the end i couldnt get a deal done....my pick would have also been Calvin Johnson

 

that left me still trying to move up as there were 4 WRs I had my eye on: Plax, Santonio Holmes, Bowe, Holt

once plax was off the board i didnt really think that the other 3 would make it to me at 4.7.....when I made the deal I had

holmes at the top of my list but I had kept flip flopping on the 3...had holmes all ready to take in MFL and then saw a friend on IM and we chatted

a bit and I ended up changing my mind to Bowe....and fwiw, it was not easy to pass on Torry Holt either....dynasty or not

 

currently I am trying to move up to an on the clock pick as long as the guy i am targeting is available

 

so now I am left with: PManning, Portis, Brandon Marshall and Bowe

Make that 5 years. He's been playing longer than I thought. I never go for an early QB so I never consider taking Manning. I have 2 years left on Wayne in a dynasty. I usually start looking at QB's around the 5th or 6th rounds.

look at my comments in the draft at MFL...I hated taking a QB when I did but when you look at the scoring and the performance(or should i say lack of outside of the top guys) you will see why i did it

Thanks for posting the info like that Keg. Certainly a bold move from Dionysius I, will be interesting to see how that works out at season's end.

By season's end I fully expect to suck. But this is a long term project. With those two, can afford to wait a year or even two. Its not like I am drafting Fred Taylor or Marvin Harrison.

 

The hard part was passing on LT.
