Skilly
I believe that this game will be the indicator for the rest of the season for the Broncos. Even though the Skins have been having a terrible year, their defense is still pretty good and Denver's offense has been stinking up the joint. On paper, everythings points to Denver winning this game, but I have my doubts. Road trip to east coast, early game, reeling from two straight losses.......McDaniels needs to right this ship this week. Most likely, San Diego will beat Philly today, (and I say that because Philly is THE MOST schizophrenic team in the league) and if Denver can't hold it's one game lead over the Chargers going into next week, then I think the season is done and the playoffs are out of reach. Some of you will come back with, "But Denver still has Oakland and Kansas City twice". True, but Denver has a terrible record playing in Kansas City, especially after November, and I could definately see them losing that game. Bottom line: Broncos have to take care of business today in Washington. They need to find their running game (hey McD, there's no rule against running the ball to the outside.....you don't have to pound it between the guards every time!) and they need to score some friggin points already. AtomicCEO
they need to score some friggin points already. Not to mention that they need to prevent Washington from scoring more points that they score themselves.
Skilly
Not to mention that they need to prevent Washington from scoring more points that they score themselves. Normally I would totally agree with you, however I would have been MUCH more pleased to lose to Pittsburgh 28-27 rather than 28-10, with our lone trip into the red zone ending up with a field goal. They need to win this game AND show some progress on offense.
Big John
Not to mention that they need to prevent Washington from scoring more points that they score themselves. That should not be any problem there with the WAS offense.
skylive5
That should not be any problem there with the WAS offense. What offense Big John? It is an absolute guarantee that the 'Skins will not score more than 17.

BeeR
You never know in the NFL. Nothing would surprise me. Just please let Moreno have a good game
BeeR
Except for a few gifts the Skins have given them, DEN is lame. I predict 2d half collapse of this overrated/over-performing team.
keggerz
with 2:44 to go Skins take their first lead of the day 24-17....Broncos have 1 timeout left
tosberg34
Guess the Broncos didn't want the win. Man, does Sims suck.

piratesownninjas
I think McD lost this game. Sure the Orton injury was massive, but his play calling was a wreck in the second half... With Moreno running the ball very well, why call a play action pass to Marshall into double coverage deep downfield? Just pound the ball. Simms hadn't played a meaningful game in 2-3 years and you call that? I also think they need to start going to the checkdown a bit more. on the broncos last scoring driver Moreno was open near the endzone, as was he on the last play Orton was in on. I think they just got too cute play calling wise.

skylive5
WOW! 27 points! I am sure there will be a recount during the week and somehow if will be found that they only scored 10. Never dreamt that the 'Skins would score 27 against Denver. What a great game.

He's a total joke of a QB and Betts was just shredding them left and right. Be a lonng time before they live down giving up 27 to WAS. That's like giving up 50 to a normal team. Henry Muto
Can someone please dig up my post after Denver beat SD when I said it wasn't over yet and I thought Denver would not make the playoffs since they had a tough string of games coming up (which Washington was not 1 of them) That said SD needs to go into Denver and win that game.
