wiegie
I could see Tomlin's balls from Virginia. unfortunatly, you couldn't see his brain from 2 inches away without an electron microscope
Chavez
Onside kick This shows no confidence in both the kicking game or the defense. How much confidence would YOU have in a D that gave up 400+ yds and 28 pts? Plus it could've been worse, GB dropped 5 passes in the first half. bpwallace49
They should have had that too . . . all he had to do was wait for one more second . . . Cmon Pack . . lets convert this early Christamas present from Tomlin!!

Chavez
True. However, that was still a ridiculous call in that situation. I'm a big believer that too many coaches lose because they play it safe. If Ike Taylor waits one more heartbeat to grab the ball, the Steelers are icing the win righ tnow, not sweating out a GB drive.
tosberg34
That looked like a half-a$$ attempt by Jones to get to the ball.

buddahj
where was this from rodgers last week when i really needed it?
Chavez
Hmm, maybe something like THAT is why Tomlin had no faith in his D. GB - 21 pts in the 4th quarter.
Ursa Majoris
Steelers pay the penalty for that coaching call
Menudo
Hmm, maybe something like THAT is why Tomlin had no faith in his D. GB - 21 pts in the 4th quarter. Packers 'D' hasn't done much better. Do you want them to try an onside kick ?
ts
Right about now, Rodgers gets my vote for "most influential person of the decade" ... that TD could make the difference for me, so seems pretty darn influential ... well, at least for today. Last Play: 3-14-PIT 24(2:12) (Shotgun) A.Rodgers pass short right to J.Jones for 24 yards, TOUCHDOWN.

Ursa Majoris
Even if he doesn't trust his D, that is still a wrong decision given the odds of recovering the kick.

I'd be more angry at Ike Taylor for f'ing up a sure recovery than at Tomlin for a call that would have worked.
