I wish you would have narrowed the choices down. No way St. Loius gives up on Bradford. No way Carolina gives up on Newton after his huge start. Fitzpatrick is a solid QB for the Bills. Arizona just gave away a really good CB for Kolb.

I think the only logical team to suck for luck is Indy. I would be shocked if Peyton came back. Guy has 50 years of his life left to live, and i'm sure he doesn't want to spend it in a chair.

Ultimatly though, I could see the Patriots trading 2 first round, and 1 second round pick to move up to take Luck. Let him sit behind Brady for a few years, and let Brady go similar to Joe Montana.

They got Mallett this year.

The candidates are:

JAX

IND

KC

SEA

SF

Too early to tell, but I'd put the leaders as KC and SEA, with IND and JAX not too far behind.

I'd throw Minny, Cincy, Miami, and the Broncos in there for sure. All those teams have a legit shot at ending up with the #1 pick and I don't see how any of them pass on a franchise QB.

Respectfully disagree. There is a clear differentiation in suckitude between the level of play in Minny, Cincy, Miami and Denver and the others I listed. These teams at least look like they belong on the field. SEA, KC, JAX and IND all look like they are UFL Tryout teams. SF is not far behind.

I'm with you only I'd go further and take JAX out of the list to leave only IND, SEA and KCC. I think Indy will win a couple this year, leaving KCC and SEA. Of these two, KCC suck but they aren't intentionally tanking. They have already had a couple big time injuries, so they weren't tanking from the get go.

Seattle are. There is no other explanation for signing Jackson as #1 and Whitehurst behind him. Therefore I think Seattle win the luck Race because they are trying to.

Sure right now SEA, KC, JAX, and INDY are not playing close to NFL-level football but we are only two games in the season. A lot can happen so I think it's ludicrous to say that MIN, CIN, MIA, and DEN have no shot at doing any worse.

Oh thanks, now I'll have bad dreams. I can see this happening. No way would the Colts do such a move, however, and I think Manning may come back to win just enough games to take them out of the running.

Agreed it's still way to early to say for sure, but KC and SEA are the front-runners IMO. Severe problems on both sides of the ball.
