peepinmofo
Just got a tweet from LaCanfora saying Suggs tore his achilles. BOO!

Menudo
Sucks for the Ravens, and might help the Steelers, but, I hate seeing any player get injured. I'd love to have all teams battle at full strength, but, in this sport, that simply doesn't happen. Suggs is an incredible player, and this will definitely hurt the Ravens defense. Swashbucklers
That sucks for the Ravens, but I think Jon Gruden will have even a harder time with it. How will he replace all the air time he spends talking about T-Sizzle?
stevegrab
So what's the scoop, the real lowdown on how this happened. I asked a guy at work and he said he hear Suggs was playing a basketball game. This link supports that http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2012/05/report-ravens-terrell-suggs-tears-achilles-playing-basketball/1#.T6KSbutYvQg But another says that it happened while he was practicing for an upcoming conditioning test http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/05/03/terrell-suggs-injury-acl-ravens-season_n_1474250.html?ref=sports In any case Suggs says this doesn't keep him out all season, while others expect that it will. I wouldnt be surprised if it were playing ball. But perhaps if it were basketball, then he could lose out on his 2012 salary? If thats the case, of course he would say he was conditioning himself and thats how he was hurt.
Return Of S&B
This offseason blows... My best guess is Courtney Upshaw will be forced to start right away in place of Suggs, and Kruger will man the other 3-4 OLB position (replacing Jarret Johnson who left due to free agency). No doubt about it, this will be a huge blow to the defense, and Ravens overall. Maybe this will force Harbaugh to not rely so much on his Defense and have his Offense not play so conservative this year...this is wishful thinking of course
Henry Muto
Glad I botched a deal on Tuesdsay night that would have sent me Pierre-Paul for Suggs and two 5th round picks...
