Scorcher
Have you ever picked a player based on preseason that panned out. I am talking about some one not that well known, but really showed up in the preseason. Does the preseason give a lot of info?
Axe Elf
Arian Foster in 2010. Ryan Leaf looked like a beast in preseason as a rookie, but that din't work out so well. I think the preseason can be deceptive more often than not, but it does help to mediate some perceptions. Scorcher
I think a lot of people grabbed Alfred Morris because of preseason.
Axe Elf
Maybe, but I don't think a lot of people trusted he was really the starter until after Week 1.

Dexter Morgan
Matt Ryan last year. Not unknown obv but he was unstoppable in pre-season and everyone said he was ready to take the next step and had his best season. Djgb13
Still tracking him but Shane Vereen this year. The TD from tonight was a good indicator. He lines up at RB and wr. I'm thinking he would be a smart pick this year

BA Baracus
Desean jackson had a crazy punt return in preseason of his rookie year. I grabbed him in the last round after seeing that and he made for great wr/flex depth.

irish
!00% agree Absolutely! I had one draft and Vereen's already on that team with several more to come. Basically, every year, I grab a player late in drafts or on the WW who pans out to be HUGH. If you're in enough leagues it's bound to happen. delfamdelfam
I agree on Vereen, I got him with 4.11 in Huddle Ladder and he might even go earlier than that by the end of the preseason.

Axe Elf
I'd seen more than one person use it, so I figured as much. Still, had a little free time to riff on it.

MikesVikes
When I saw Randy Moss in his first preseason, I wanted to draft him every chance I had before the word was out on him.
Thews40
When I saw Randy Moss in his first preseason, I wanted to draft him every chance I had before the word was out on him. That's the key, in that once the word it out, it's game over. With all the starters sitting out or playing the first or second series, it's hard to place real value on the preseason, especially the first game.
