drafter
Local money league, standard scoring with bonus pts. awarded for Big plays. Did well drafting my RB's, but STUNK picking my WR's. Threw the following up on the block, just to see what offers came about: J. Jones S. Davis C. Williams Last RB is S. Alexander, and I don't think he is leaving my stable. here are my WR's Burleson (@#)*@#)*@#*@# why did I pick this knucklehead, I'm a packer fan!) S. Smith L. Coles R. Smith Another owner just offered me T.J. Houshmanzadeh for Stephen Davis, talk to me fellas.........pounce or hold off??
Perchoutofwater
Of the three, Davis is definitely the one to get rid of. I like Housh and think he is under rated because of the other stud WR on his team. I'd take it. Foster will be stealling carries from Davis anyway. cdj7k
if you still have alexander, jones, and williams, i would go for it. housh should have a really good year
Skrappy1
I wouldn't. Housh is decent and I understand that you're probably looking to sell high with Stephen Davis, but you can probably do better than Housh for a starting RB. Plus, is Housh really a better option than Smith or Coles? Not in my opinion. You're RBs are very good though. If you only start 2, then I'd probably look to trade Julius Jones or Cadillac for a true stud WR if you can't get more for Davis. I guess it really depends upon how many RBs and WRs you're required to start each week. Edited September 20, 2005 by Skrappy1
drafter
Skrappy, that was my thought..........I'd struggle weekly on WDIS. I offered another owner S. Davis for D. Jax, see if he comes back with a counter offer.... If I could land D. Jax I would finally have a solid WR corps with Steve Smith. May cost me Caddy or Julius, but I think I can live without one of them.
twiley
I'd do it. You have Jones and Williams to toss around which is a situation many huddlers would love to have.

Skrappy1
I'd rather have Housh than Jackson and keep Jones and WIlliams FWIW. 1006310[/snapback] If those were the options, as a combination, I'd agree. But on an individual basis, I'd still take D-Jax over Housh. Julius Jones was probably a 1st or 2nd round pick though, and Cadillac has performed like one. What I was more thinking is maybe someone has like a Torry Holt, Chad Johnson type of guy that was probably drafted in the 2nd or 3rd round and therefore that team might be needing another RB. I'd look to maybe swap Jones or Caddy for someone like that if you can.

drafter
Holt owner didn't bite, However, Chad Johnson's owner bit for Caddilac Williams!!!!! I had to pay the $5 for the trade, but I'll gladly eat that. I'll make that back in spades when I win the Superbowl this year! Thanks for the advice fellas!
