Chavez
Anyone else think the reason the IOC is pissed at the Candian women's hockey team for their "scandalous" celebration is because Molson didn't kick in the $$$ for an official sponsorship? theprofessor
Did I mention one of them took the Zamboni for a spin? While it might not have sent the best message to our youth, I personally, have no problem with how they chose to celebrate. Obviously they put in a lot of hard work to get the Gold and, for me, there's something a little Haaawt watching one woman pour champagne into anothers mouth. Wellll...I have no problem w/ a celeb confined to the locker room, but going back on the ice (even though the stands were supposedly clear) was pushing the limit. The ride on the Zamboni WAS over the top. JMHO

matt770
I'm normally not huge into the Olympics but these games were pretty awesome. Not sure anything can top Phelps in Beijing, but Vancouver was a close second. Highlights for me were men's and women's alpine, men's cross country, snowboarding, speed skating and hockey. And even though we lost to Canada in the gold medal game I'm even happy for them. Also their figure skater who lost her mom, pretty compelling stuff. I'm going to miss watching this stuff every night. Next winter games are in freaking Russia.
