Any ideas why my post count is going down?

To whom it may concern:

A few days ago, without much fanfare, I crossed 2,000 posts...I didn't think much of it until I noticed this morning that I was at 1,997...then, I went to delete a post I made to bump a thread I'd started about the KC-area FF league I'm trying to start...and, when I deleted that post, my count went down to 1,991.

Not really a bid deal to me, just seems a bit odd. Any ideas as to what happened?

Grits and Shins:

I expect it's a cookie / refresh kinda thing.

I bet your post count never really decreased, but when you brought up some old threads it was showing an out-of-date post count.

Just my guess.

I think this is the closest. This site occasionly brings you to an "old" view, which would show a lower post count. If you press ctrl and refresh at the same time, it should bring you to the newest view (with the current post count).
