NSab
How does a Pro Football team not have a decent line. They had to know they had problems losing guys etc. It is amazing that they couldn't do a better job building an O-line.
DaFreak
Not to mention a defense. The glory days are definitely over for the fudgies.

ebartender
I just don't get the fact that you lose two key offensive linemen and have such a horrible defense and your 1st round pick is a QB. Favre is one of the few solid players on that team.

NSab
It's sad , he is old, but could still perform if they gave at least some help.
CaptainHook
Just throwing it out there, would the Packers even consider trading him? If he's only going to play one more year, why not trade him to a team that has a chance? The Pack are going nowhere. Might as well play Rogers and get some good picks. Jets, Lions, Bills, Ravens, Bears, and Cardinals should all be interested.
bushwacked
Sad to see him maybe ending his career like this. He still seems to have skills, but how many more seasons can it last....0....1....2?

I just can't see them trading him...I know it would be best for the future, but when a guy has been the cornerstone of your franchise for so long? And how come I don't hear Madden reminding me every 30 seconds how many straight games Favre has played in?
Pope Flick
i would love to see this, Favre in a Bears jersey. 1041305 Unless it results in a SB victory - NO WAY. Other than that, there is nothing sad about the Pack reverting to the team I knew in the 70's and 80's. CaptainHook
How can you even mention the Lions and Bears? 1041318 Yeah, I know. But at some point, the price would be right, even if it was to a division rival.
kcmast
I don't see how he can motivate himself to come back next year. They just look horrible...Looks like we're headed back to the Pack of the 80's.

CaptainHook
Bledsoe did go to the Bills. . . However, I think that went just a Genius Bill had foreseen it. . .
kcmast
But if he went to the Lions or Bears at least I could still see him beat the Vikings twice a year.
CaptainHook
Brett better be glad he doesn't have to WATCH these games. Every Pack game I see they remind us about everybody in his family dying, that he's getting grey, man that would be depressing. . .
Skrappy1
It would be a sad day. 1041326 I agree. No disrespect to Favre, but this constant love fest for him by just about ALL the announcer working in the NFL is kind of sickening I think. We get it already...he's a tough mofo, he's a good dude, and he's an all-time great. Just tired of all the excuses everytime he makes a bad throw and all the gushing everytime he makes a moderately decent one.
CaptainHook
Favre will not make it through the season behind that line.
