Seattle LawDawg
I don't tend to drink more than 4-5 drinks and usually its wine or vodka with the occasional single malt. I have been told by my wife that I have to give her 24 hour notice if I plan to drink smokey martinis however.
Czarina
A case of beer a day keeps me nice. In the winter I'll add some JD Green/Powers/Knob Creek to the mix, but then I get crazy and go visit Czarina 1266740[/snapback] So glad I stopped in here. Hey HoPper. Czarina
This is the Lost Weekend crowd, huh? Over what period of time are we talking here? On NYE I was drinking for several hours (nonstop, yipes) and drank a goodly portion of a bottle of vodka. But that's rare for me. A couple glasses of wine in the evening and I'm ready to sleep. Then again, my wine glasses are so big that I really only get 3 glasses out of a bottle. :

Hugh 0ne
Good for several at Happy Hour, and then a few at home with the wife. Probably puts me in the 6 to 10 range.

Hugh B Tool
I drink em, I don't count em. When out, too many to count. When home, who cares?
Czarina
And really, it's not the overall number but the size of each that counts. I can't tell you how many people I took histories for at the hospital, who came in for alcohol probs, would tell me they had 1-2 drinks at night. Mind you, they'd be THIS BIG, but they could honestly say it was 'just' 1-2.
