Then, one guy actually gets wrapped up and thrown to the ground and the ref gives a card to the guy who got thrown? This is not making me a soccer fan. Ref was great other than one undeserved yellow card (fake elbow to the face), as this was one heck of a contentious match and he had to impose order. All I saw was dives, cards, and one fairly good shot on goal from Portugal that went wide. Oh... and that keeper getting kicked in the face was pretty fun. I agree with Sac. To blame the ref is to blame the police for a rash of burglaries. I'd also like to mention that JP Dallacamera and John Harkes are by far and away the worst announcers in the entire history of television sports, bar none. Thank you. Carry on.
