bud8jj48
I was offer a trade for LT. The offer is LT for Kevin Jones and Warrick Dunn. I'm in 4th place and will easily make playoffs. This is an auction lg that we can keep up to 3 players in. We have 350 to spend and can keep players for 3 years. LT has 1 more year left for me but will cost me 121 next year and combined Dunn and Jones will cost 40 and both will have 2 yrs left if choose to keep both of them. Value seems to be strong but I want to win this year also. I have other runners like J Lewis and Mike Bell. Hard to trade the best runner considering he has outscored both of them. Stenght of schedule looks to favor the 2 players I would receive but LT is special and doesn't matter who he plays. Just looking for some thoughts on this. Scoring 1pt for 10 yds rush/rec 6-18 pts for tds by distance Thanks Edited November 10, 2006 by bud8jj48
theeohiostate
I think your stealing KJ and Dunn for only LT. I'm surprised they didn't want AJ in the deal as well LT is washed up and KJ will surplant him as the leagues top back. Dunn has at least 5 more years of production left, he's running better then any point in his carrer. Get rid of LT NOW, before he changes his mind. ced1001
LT is washed up and KJ will surplant him as the leagues top back. I seriously hope there's at least a hint of sarcasm there. NYGiants5680
I would hold onto LT2. Detroit's o-line for run blocking still has many questions and Warrick Dunn is a great back but he is NOT Tomlinson. LT2 can rip any Defense apart. Akfatha
LT is single handedly keeping me in games and winning games for me. dont trade him away. hes the best player out there.

SaintsFanUnfortunately
The only person worthy of consideration when talking about trading LT is LJ. And I still value LT more. LT can single handedly win a game for an owner with one quarter's play. LT had only 40 yards midway thru the 3rd quarter of the Cleveland game and finished with 3 TDs and something like 180 total yards. He is the fantasy franchise. I would only trade LT if both LJ and a top 3 QB or other top 10 RB were involved in the trade, period. NO NO NO NO NO Keep LT!
Sharpie
Given the salary and keeper status, I have to recommend making the trade. 121 of 350 is a high number for one guy and I wouldn't set my team up that way. Granted, LT is huge and in a non-salary cap league, I wouldn't trade him for anything short of LJ and another top guy or basically a whole team of studs. Snoil
Keep him and go for the win this year. There's always next year to address next year

jake_the_builder
I was actually considering trading LJ or LT(yea, I got them both) I really can't decide on which one I would deal, but I dont' think I can get what I would want for either of them. jake_the_builder
keeper league? if not how did you get both of those guys? just curious It is a 16 team IDP dynasty league. I traded for both of them preseason. Players that I had at one point and got rid of to get them both: Caddy/Ronnie/Westy/Fitz
