seabronc
Saw this on KFFL this morning: NFL | Fast facts: Proehl, Jurevicius share Super bond Tue, 30 Jan 2007 06:24:21 -0800 Indianapolis Colts WR Ricky Proehl (hamstring) is expected to play in Super Bowl XLI Sunday, Feb. 4, despite a hamstring injury, and if Proehl is available, he will join Cleveland Browns WR Joe Jurevicius as two players who have appeared in seven (including this year) of the last eight Super Bowls. What makes their bond so unique is that both players have represented three different teams during that span. Who cares??? Just for the record, it is the two of them combined who have been in 7/8 SuperBowls. Are they just connecting them because they are white possession receivers? muck
Maybe the Chiefs will sign or trade for one of them this offseason?
Squeegiebo
Who cares??? Just for the record, it is the two of them combined who have been in 7/8 SuperBowls. Are they just connecting them because they are white possession receivers? Are there any other players who have played in 7 of the last 8 Superbowls? Doesn't seem any more silly a stat than half the others that are thrown out there this time of year.
Perchoutofwater
I heard that the winner of this Super Bowl will be the first African American Head Coach to win a Super Bowl.
cdrudge
I heard that the winner of this Super Bowl will be the first African American Head Coach to win a Super Bowl. Are you sure? I haven't heard that anywhere else.

Mark5
EVERYBODY leads the league in SOMETHING... I'm guessing Rex will have the LOWEST QB rating for a SB QB on a winning team.
Menudo
EVERYBODY leads the league in SOMETHING... I'm guessing Rex will have the LOWEST QB rating for a SB QB on a winning team. Well, there are two reasons that won't happen. First, the Bears aren't winning. Second, Roethlisberger's QB rating in last year's win will be tough to beat. Where is race mentioned anywhere in the article? What makes this awesome stat ridiculous is that you threw race into it where it needn't have been. Take it for what it is...they're connected because of the achievement.
Steeltown Dre
Well, there are two reasons that won't happen. First, the Bears aren't winning. Second, Roethlisberger's QB rating in last year's win will be tough to beat. Ben's rating of 22.6 was the lowest of a winning QB, the next lowest was 51.9 in 1998. In terms of QBs who were absolutely terrible and their team lost: There were 5 QBs who had lower ratings than Ben's 22.6, but they all lost. Check out this line: SB XII Denver Att. Comp. Yds. TD Int. Morton 15 4 39 0 4 QB Rating: 0 Or when Balt won in 2001: N.Y. Giants Att. Comp. Yds. TD Int. Collins 39 15 112 0 4 QB Rating: 7.1 I have them all listed on this site I created for my SB pick: http://superbowlanalysis.blogspot.com/
Big Red
N.Y. Giants Att. Comp. Yds. TD Int. Collins 39 15 112 0 4 QB Rating: 7.1 BEST DEFENSE EVER!!!!!!
