Vicky
Anyone been to Vegas in August? I've been there a zillion times now, but never in August. Once in June and it was hot as hell then, so I can't imagine what we're in for in early August. Am I going to have to live in the pool the whole time? TimC
The casinos have air conditioning. Vegas anytime is awesome.

Vicky
True! I should have asked if I'd need to live in the pool when we're not in casinos or clubs or something.
Vicky
Hey you said we could rent that f'cker out from you for the WCOFF. Are you going back on your word????? I said maybe, but relax! We're using up the rest of the week we had from last year. And it's the very beginning of the month (end of July into the beginning of August, actually). The 07 week is still open. When is the WCOFF thing, again?

rocknrobn26
Been there every month but May and might do that this year. August is nasty (it was 120 once), but then I hardly leave the casino. I like Dec.. Been there in June a few times and it never got over 90. Pretty nice actually.

I can't imagine! Looks like it's casinos/clubs and pool for me the whole time!
xMRogers
Been there twice in late July/Early aug...it's hot. It is desert hot, so just RIDICULOUS in terms of feelign the sun is about 10 feet over your head, but is "dry" heat as much as 125 can be dry. As long as you have a pool handy, you'll be ok. Have played golf in that weather and while it is miserable if hung over, it's not unbearable.

spain
Its hotter than a 10 peckered billygoat in August. Its the desert for Christ sakes. Stay inside where its nice and cool!
TimC
Yer in Maryland where the humidity makes Vegas seem bearable by comparison. I came back from there in August about 10 years ago where it was 110 degrees and they were complaining about the 15% humidity. I got off the plane in Richmond in the 90 degrees and 90% humidity and nearly passed out from that. Of course, I love the dry heat since we never experience it. Pope Flick
One thing: be sure to drink a LOT of water, especially between beers. The heat, even from inside has the ability to dehydrate you tremendously without your realizing it.

It seems like no matter how much I may plan to be hammered for most of a trip out there, I just can't do it because I end up having to drink so much water.
