T-Scorp
Vikings may be a possibility only because... They are probably starting a QB who is practically a rookie who will have a solid line and a decent running game but virtually know viable receivers which will mean 8 men in the box to stop the run all season long. They lost their best coach to Pittsburgh. They need to be able to put pressure on the QB and unless they can develope a pass rushing DE (hopefully James stays healthy) teams are going to pass all over them. Pat and Kevin Williams are still a force in the middle but the loss of Napolean in the middle leaves a big whole in the LB core. Greenway is comng off a injury so he is basically a rookie, Leber needs to stay healthy and Thomas/Henderson needs to step it up big time in the middle. Our secondary did not get better, Sharper is a year older as is Winfield. The young guys Edwards and Griffin show good potential and we will get Tank Williams back from injury. Still too many unknowns. Our schedule is not pretty as we play the AFC West so that should be at least 3 losses. (might have a chance against Oakland but since Moss is gone no big motivator now). We play Atlanta, Philly, and Washington at home and might win one of those. We do get to play Det/GB/Chi twice and should win 2 of those 6 games. We play Cowboys/Giants/49ers on the road and I don't see a win there. I see a potential of a 4 win season ...
TimC
We do get to play Det/GB/Chi twice and should win 2 of those 6 games. It may come down to the winner of the Lions/Vikings games on the worst team. Because of that horrible conference that couldn't win half their games against Canadian Football League challengers, the Bears have it too easy. Even the Pack will suck. But not as much as the Redskins. Therefore, suckiest teams are: 1) Redskins 2) Loser of the Detroit/Minnesota games 3) Winner of the Detroit/Minnestoa games If they split....ummmm, who really cares?
