Foot...ankle...they really don't know until they fully examine it, take x-rays, MRI....hopefully not a lisfranc fracture. If so, he's out for the year. Lets hope for a mild ankle sprain... McCarthy said he didn't have any reason to think Driver had a more serious fracture-dislocation that could sideline a player for months. "He's in good spirits," McCarthy said of Driver. DMD Posted August 24, 2007 Author Share Posted August 24, 2007 hopefully it will not be anything much but the way he acted when it happened and how he was immediately carted into the lockeroom made it seem like it was more than "just a mild foot sprain". We'll have more information tomorrow. (Is this like Ferguson's foot sprain?) It's the long French word. Pat didn't seem to believe it was to that extent. He just told me it was a foot sprain. I went over to talk to Donald and he's in good spirits. I don't have a diagnosis as far as weeks. (Did you see him right after?) He's in the training room right now with a bag of ice on his foot.
