bushwacked
He's the biggest player on Seattle's defense and the biggest difference against the run last season. The Seahawks gave up an average of 82 yards on the ground in the five games he played last season, 147.2 in the 11 he didn't. While trainers examined his knee on the sideline, Tubbs held his hands against his forehead. He was driven to the locker room on a cart. The injury was announced as a sprained ligament. He underwent tests after the game, and the team will know more about his status today. The 2004 first-round pick, who has yet to stay healthy for a 16-game season, might not get a chance to start this one.

i_am_the_swammi
under this assumption: 1. bump Hass, Branch and Hackett up, since the Seahawks will be giving up more points, and playing from behind, and forced to throw 2. drop Alexander, for the reason above 3. drop all NFC West QBs and WRs, since their RBs will be running wild
detlef
under this assumption: 3. drop all NFC West QBs and WRs, since their RBs will be running wild Go ahead and file this in the "over reaction" dept. I've got a very good source who assures me all of them have 14 games against teams not called the Seahawks. Gotta love that inside info. peepinmofo
If he hasnt stayed healthy for a full season yet, why is everyone making such a big deal about everyone elses stats going up? Wouldnt that just make them equivelant to last year?
Vichawkfan
3rd round pick Mebame is same size, younger, more pass rush ability, and was a great run stuffer at Cal - more playing time for him = take Sjax, Gore and Edge down a notch. Anyone who "bumps" Sjax and Gore because Seattle lost a DT is reaching.
Crazysight
You should also drop Fitz, Boldin and Holt for the same reasons. In all seriousness it certainly won't hurt the values of Gore, Jackson and Edge, but I wouldn't put much stock in it at all. They do play 14 games against other teams as the "inside-source" assures us.
