Savage Beatings
This is a game that the Packers are supposed to win. They are fighting for home field advantage throughout the playoffs, and they have arguably a much better team than the Bears, with Favre playing lights out breaking all kinds of QB records. Still... I smell an upset. Should be really crappy weather (cold and flurries forecasted for Sunday) which I think really benefits the Bears. It helps to even out the offensive talent from Green Bay... plus its a home game for Chicago against their most hated rival. Chicago doesn't have anything to lose at this point, and I think they would love to go out with this one victory in particular to hang their hats on. I see a low scoring ugly game, with Chicago squeaking out a win at the end. Egret
The Packers trap game is the last game of the season against the Lions. Never count out the Lions when they have nothing left on the line.

Bronco Billy
I don't see it. CHI's D just isn't there right now, and more importantly, Favre tends to play well in inclement weather, and especially well in CHI. Plus, they knocked off GB earlier this year, so the revenge factor is there. Then you have DAL going into a Wade-induced slump when HFA was almost locked in their grasp. CHI has a lot to play for in pride in this one - make no mistake. But they don't have nearly as much at stake and GB isn't going to look past such a storied rival. Fatman
One thing that McCarthy has done incredibly well is get his team prepared week by week. Given the potential for a trap, and the history of the rivalry, I'd have to think he'll have them with their heads on straight. And, my God, the Vikings beat them, so how good can they be? Sturphy
Favre tends to play well in inclement weather, and especially well in CHI. Favre's record against CHI is phenomenal. Don't have it handy, but suffice to say it is very good. He always shows up for the Bears game. I think if we looked at Driver's stats against the Bears, you would find those were pretty good historically as well.

Ursa Majoris
And, my God, the Vikings beat them, so how good can they be? As an eye witness to Monday's debacle, the answer to that question is not very. In fact, not at all good.
Savage Beatings
He has 2 losses in Chicago. Impressive Of course overall, in the last 7 games since 2004 the Packers are only 2-5 vs. Chicago.
Ursa Majoris
Of course overall, in the last 7 games since 2004 the Packers are only 2-5 vs. Chicago. And one of those 2 was the end-of-season couldn't-care-less non-effort in 2006.
Sturphy
couldn't-care-less non-effort in 2006. Yeah, you'd like to think that. It's never a couldn't care less with Packers Bears. C'mon now...
Ursa Majoris
From DMDs game projections: There is no player in the Bears offense worthy of a fantasy start other than Peterson as an absolute last option running back if you get reception points. How damning is that? Sadly, I have to agree.

pig devilz
if the Packers can't stop that crappy offense, then they don't deserve to have homefield... the Chi D is another story, they are a shadow of their former selves but still find ways to give their offense opportunities to show how lame they are. don't worry, Pack wins, even with the turnovers

Maybe if GB had demolished Chicago earlier and had the inside track to home field, Chi would have a chance of Green Bay coming out flat. But I don't see that happening. If Chicago wins this one, they'll have to EARN every point of it.
Randall
The only game where they didn't look prepared this year was against the Cowboys. I'm still not clear why they went away from the 5 wides teams couldn't defend until Favre went out. McCarthy took the blame but he could be deflecting blame from Favre. The defense looked bad as well but they have improved in all facets since. Ryan Grant, Woodson is back, ST's have all improved. and KRob is coming into his own as a returner as well. They'll be ready.
