SheikYerbuti
Who was it here that was deliberating about firing an employee near the holidays? Well, the Chicago Bulls make you look like Santa friggin Claus. From rotoworld: "The Chicago Bulls, who are off to a 9-16 start, fired coach Scott Skiles on Monday. The Bulls, who did not name a replacement, announced the decision in a written statement from vice president John Paxson. "This was a difficult decision to make, but one that was necessary at this time," Paxson said. We're not sure if it's more shocking that Skiles was fired on Christmas Eve, or that Isiah Thomas still has a job. Chief Dick
I saw that today. Pretty weak by the Bulls IMO.

chiefjay
No offense but big deal, he is paid handsomely including nice severance I am sure. Not quite the same as one of us who live paycheck to paycheck or near it.

gilthorp
I fired a non performer last Monday...it doesn't feel that great. As for Skiles, yes, he lost this team in a big way. I'm sure he'll be fine.

SheikYerbuti
Did Paxson say that ? No, but Holy crap it'd be funny if he did. Maybe he's hoping Isiah's available to take Skiles' place. .

muck
The lady I was thinking of canning has not been canned. I'm waiting on seeing if a recent upswing in performance is an anomaly or not.
