After watching that run defense with and without him, I gotta go with Albert Haynesworth. Cromartie is 2nd with his 10 INTs.

Haynesworth missed too much time. The Colts play at an elite level with Bob Sanders. He's short but he plays big.

Interesting choices, and the top two (Haynes/Sanders) really go towards not only being Def POY but Def MVP becasue both teams defenses play on a diff level when they are not there. That concept of POY (best players) vs MVP (most valuable) seems usually to be limited to offense and other sports, but those two guys really define both.

 

I'm going with Sanders myself.

I just threw in a homer vote for Cromartie even though I know he won't win. I can only imagine what his stats would've been had he started the whole season!

I'd go with one of the guys on the top teams in the AFC, so probably Sanders or Vrabel. My vote would go to Sanders.

Agreed. He'd be the front-runner if he hadn't, IMO.

 

I'd give it to either Kearney or Sanders. Both had spectacular seasons with a limited supporting cast.

He was my first thought but will get DROY so I went with Sanders.

 

Panther Dave was criticized for taking Wiillis at 1.03 of the rookie draft but a 4.39 240 ILB and a good kid was a good pick.
