Here's your chance to ask questions to US Army Generals on the front line

Next Thursday I will be doing a video conference with Lieutenant General James M. Dubik and General Nasier Abadi. The former is the commanding general of the multi national security in Iraq and the latter is the Vice Chief of Staff of the Iraqi Joint Forces.

If there is anything in particular that you want me to ask just post and I'll see if I can. Please no questions about time tables of when we're getting out and other political stuff. Military questions only unless something else seems fit to ask.

I'd ask them if they think they are serving in a backwater command or on the front line of a war that has global implications now and in the near future. Cold and or potentially hot.

That is what one question you would ask the Commanding General of Multinational Security and the Vice Chief of Staff of Iraqi Forces in a public forum?

Cool opportunity!

I'd ask what the greatest challenges are in terms of getting the Iraqis fully prepared to police themselves without relying on our joint forces. Then I'd follow up and ask them how close the Iraqis truly are to being fully trained and capable of self-reliance.
