TimC
Los Angeles has water? Don't you guys steal it from elsewhere?
Brentastic
If they rated cities with the best tap water - I'm sure Chicago would be at or near the very top. Our tap water is phenomenal.

Big John
Winners announced. Municipal Water Gold: TIE... Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Clearbrook, British Columbia, Canada Silver: TIE... Desert Hot Springs, CA Village of Montrose, British Columbia, Canada Bronze: Rutland, Vermont 4th -- Independence, Missouri 5th -- Montpelier, Ohio And there were only 29 entrants. Placing is curious too since there was a tie for first for gold, it takes the 1 and 2 slots and the next place should be 3rd and the 2 tied for "silver" should be bronze and the "bronze" actually finished 5th and should have no metal, and the 4th-5th should be 6th-7th. ABearWithFurniture
Los Angeles has water? Don't you guys steal it from elsewhere? 75% to 80% of L.A.'s drinking water comes from Northern California...most specifically through the San Joaquin and Sacramento delta. So many, many boats and people fishing/drinking on that delta...wonder where they are peeing at?
Coffeeman
I must say, I live here and this is shocking. Not that I don't like it, but of all the more pristine, out of the way places in the world for water, we get #1? Weird - we must be paying a fortune to process it. And I still drink mine through a filter in the fridge too...
