Big Country
twiley about covered it. Only WCOFF mandated events we go to: Registration on Friday - usually a very brief time, and usually only the drafters go, though they do usually have a small trade show set up that some of the online sites and other places set up a booth for, and they have their various master drafts going on live this day that you can watch and mock the picks of. Saturday - Draft. Usually starts around 10am or so, maybe it's 11. Again, only drafters can get into the actual draft conference room, but there is usually a waiting place (aka the closest bar) that those team members that are not drafting congregate to wait for updates, and watch college football. That is the only WCOFF required things. Other than that, it is really just a bunch of guys hanging out in Vegas having a blast.
darin3
Add on about another $400 then you'll have a firmer cost. Not for the winners. Unless you have a team you really can't participate in any of the events. I think you can get into a few of the parties but none of us really go to those anymore. All you really need to pay for is flight, hotel, and spending money. We as a group do enough outside of WCOFF that you won't have any problems keeping entertained. A typical weekend usually goes like this: Thursday - we all meet up somewhere to watch the night game. Massive amounts of alcohol are drank and we end up at a strip club or casino. At this point we either drink more or get thrown out for tossing shoes at strippers. Friday - meet up for an early lunch - drinking has already started. We hit the casinos - some play poker while others corral a table and do blackjack (awesome time). That evening is another hugh meetup with huddlers and we're usually wasted. People hit 30-1 odds on roulette, people hang out at lesbian bars, and penguins typically get molested. Saturday - draft day. Those that draft do, those that don't hangout at the draft casino bar and well...drink. We usually have a group dinner that evening and more mayhem ensues. Some gamble, some club, some get thrown out of club for telling bouncer to F-off. Sunday - watch the games at a pre-determined location and well...drink some more. Sometimes flights are rescheduled and sometimes people just miss their flights altogether. Monday - we all go home with very big hangovers. Dare I say - one of the most kick ass times you'll ever have? Hope that explains it all. Great job. twiley about covered it. Yup... they would be smart to beef up the "trade show" thing... maybe they will this time around.

Big John
So when does the puking on shoes commence? When the jagermeister comes in. ( and you get sick on that too along with tequila)
