Bronco Billy
Donkeys signed Boss Bailey, so the Bailey boys are playing together in DEN. Maybe they can get George Bailey, too...

Avernus
I don't think you're getting Fitzgerald. it doesn't have to be Fitz....there's 3 or 4 other WR's we are looking at... the Eagles are trading for someone who is legit #1 WR...
i_am_the_swammi
Spikes was on the Eskin show this afternoon after getting released. Class act, nothing bad to say about the Eagles. Birds called him Friday, and asked if they could reduce his salary from $5M to $2M so they could try and trade him....Spikes said no way, that he would rather be cut and free to negotiate his own deal somewhere. Eagles could have let him twist all summer, and cut him in the fall, but Spikes said Andy called him persoanlly today, and let him know they'd release him early so he could take advantage of a buyer's market before all the LB spots had been spoke for. Classy move. Spike's apparently has been contacted already by the Browns, Pats and Titans.

I hope Miami makes a play for him - though I can't really say if he'd fit into their system.
