The Irish Doggy
Mine just happened to be the 1st posted though. However, it was without a link. Before and after I posted I looked and there was no other post on the front page about this topic. Aw, gee, that's super.
muck
I'd bet that STL is now getting the agents for Chris Long, Vernon Gholston and Glenn Dorsey on the horn... With the prospect of avoiding a hold-out, I cannot see any way that a GM could justify to the owner or the coach that another course of action is best. Fatman
So, if this deal is in fact in place and a deal consummated, does anyone know the protocol as to whether St Louis is allowed to move forward with negotiations regarding other players, and then if they were to consummate a deal, whether the draft can then proceed to ATL and so on? Well, this is a good start to the new era in Miami. They get their guy signed into camp on time with a deal that both sides like.

Caveman_Nick
wonder if anyone is going to update their picks in the draft contest? So should some of us get extra credit for getting it right the first time? Edited April 22, 2008 by Caveman_Nick

Randall
Following the signing of Jake Long, Vernon Carey will be the Dolphins' starting right tackle in 2008. Carey should like this. Right tackle is his best position and he's in a contract year. Miami may also explore signing him long-term during the season.
