dmarc117
http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=5441195&page=1 John Edwards repeatedly lied during his Presidential campaign about an extra-marital affair with a novice film-maker, the former Senator admitted to ABC News today. In an interview for broadcast tonight on Nightline, Edwards told ABC News correspondent Bob Woodruff he did have an affair with 42-year old Rielle Hunter, but said that he did not love her. Edwards also denied he was the father of Hunter's baby girl, Frances Quinn, although the one-time Democratic Presidential candidate said he has not taken a paternity test. CaP'N GRuNGe
My co-worker took the politico blurb about McCain and Obama's different reaction to Georgia and created this gem: The candidates on Rielle Hunter The candidates take strikingly different lines on Rielle Hunter, with McCain condemning the Edwards "invasion of Hunter," as the headline of his statement read, and Obama — like the White House — calling for restraint from all three sides. As an editor points out, early reports suggest that Edwards— not Andrew Young— first escalated the conflict, sending his semen into the disputed region after border skirmishes with Young over who is next. So McCain's casting Edward’s move as an invasion flows from his hard-line stance on the conflict in the first place, which is that Ms Hunter belongs to Young, and that Edwards has no right to meddle, even when Young sends in his love stick. Obama seems to take a similar line, saying "Hunter’s territorial integrity must be respected," but there's a clear difference in the two candidates' reaction to a serious domestic policy challenge here. This conflict is an echo of the Free Love movement of the 1960’s, and the two are in postures familiar from that era: McCain thinks that Edwards will respond only to LSD and smutty women; Obama puts more stock in Josh Gordon and a “black power” imagine. I Like Soup
Squeegie must be crushed. Anyway, who cares. After the amount of resources put in to Clinton's "affair" while in office and what that put our country through, I am further convinced stuff like this is pretty petty. We all know politicians are hughman and aren't perfect...gee, just like the rest of us.

If you'd grow up a bit, you'd ignore all this extra-marital nonsense. If the same standards were applied in the past, we'd never have got independence nor had some of our greatest presidents. It's all way oveblown and that includes both sides.
