MikesVikes
Remember the series well. If memory serves, Bruce Lee was supposed to play the part and got hosed because he looked "too oriental." Speechless on the psycho whackoff thing. Beyond bizarro. When they made a movie about Bruce Lee, they had a part where he was PO'd because he got snubbed for the part. Duchess Jack
I thought that as well. Chalk me up for that feeling as well. Its kind of like a old grizzled salt going down with his ship.

Pope Flick
Now we know why David Carradine's family thinks foul play may have been involved in the actors death -- his manager tells us Carradine was found with his hands tied behind his back. Chuck Binder, Carradine's manager, tells us he firmly believes Carradine did not take his own life -- nor does he think David died accidentally. Binder says the family has been told Carradine's hands were immobilized by the rope. Carradine was found by a hotel maid Thursday morning with a rope tied around his neck and another around his genitals in a Bangkok hotel room. UPDATE: Thai police are now recognizing David's death may not have been a suicide, by saying, "It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or [whether] he died of suffocation or heart failure." Police say he could have died from an "accidental suffocation." UPDATE: We've been told by the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok that David's body was shipped back to the States Friday evening (Thailand is 14 hours ahead of PST). Cameltosis
A member of the emergency crew who was called to the hotel after a maid found Carradine told CNN that a yellow nylon rope was tied around the actor's neck and a black rope was around his genitals. Police later confirmed that information. The same emergency crew source said Carradine's hands were not tied, contrary to some media reports. Smith, the co-manager, also said media reports quoting the actor's management saying the hands were tied were untrue. link
Perchoutofwater
There is nothing to indicate that he has had any instability problems off camera. I don't get it. RIP I remember hearing something about one either him or his nerdy half brother Robert having some pretty serious depression issues, but I can't remember which.
