You can't have people indiscriminately swatting flys on the TV. Especially when there might be kids watching. And when the man doing the swatting is supposedly the "most powerful man in the world" what are those kids supposed to think? Doesn't he know he is supposed to be a role model? All PETA really did was make a blog post and sent an $8 bug catcher to the president. Prior to the media contacting them for their "official statement" on the issue, they didn't care. And from the sounds of it, they still don't care all that much. Well, i saw an article with the word 'execution' in it. Unless that was a joke which seems possible given how ridiculous that sounds.
