euphy
My league just rejected this trade. So bogus. I would have gotten Jones and TO for Moss and KNowshon. Jones is a major sleeper. Edited October 2, 2009 by euphy

Savage Beatings
Not exactly a great trade, but certainly nothing about it warrants a veto.
RussMan
Not that unfair -- it may be a good deal. Does it make the other team better. I have made trades where I knew the other guy was getting the better player but it made my team better overall so I was cool with that. euphy
They think it's collusion, but Julius Jones is very underestimated this year. And... WRs are a dime a dozen.

If someone called me out as a cheater, they had better damn well have some evidence to back it up. You don't just trash someone's honor on a whim. And if they do have evidence of cheating, then it's not enough to just veto a trade. If two owners are colluding, then they should immediately be kicked out of the league. Henry Muto
first I would like to say trades should not be veto'd unless you know there is trickery afoot. second I would like to say Are you guys freaking nuts ? It's not that unfair ? I am not sure what planet you guys are from but I am on planet Earth please come back to it. Randy Freaking Moss for Julies stinking Jones ? People don't recall last year I guess when Jones had 2 fantastic weeks in a row early in the season then died for the rest of the year. There is only 1 person you trade Randy Moss for and his name is Peterson.

rattsass
Nowhere near a veto-able trade. If I was in a league where that trade was put down I would probably play the season out and quit. Randy Moss has been a stud and Jones has not. BIG FREAKING DEAL. Jones has been up to this point a serviceable RB, and Moss' performance has not been earth shatering by any means. This trade happens before the season started and maybe you could justify killing it. But at this point - if you can make yourself imagine that Moss wasn't drafted 1st round and Jones in the 8th, you can justify it now. Granted Moss will probably end up with better numbers than Jones but do we really know that? No evidence to support that at this point. I hate league meddling. Collusion is the ONLY reason a trade should ever be rejected in the first place, trying to police fairness or value is in the eye of the beholder has no place in fantasy football. WRs are a dime a dozen (Manningham, Sims-Walker, Garcon, and etc) can produce the same amount of points as Moss.
Flip_Side
I kinda agree with Muto here. I'd take Randy Moss over Julius Jones all day even if I was already set at WR.

I remember last year, alot of people were calling me crazy for trading a hurt Colston for D.Williams. They thougth DeAngelo was a bum and etc. And he had a HUGE second half of the year. masterwing
I agree that moss is more valuable than jones, and if your league thinks so too: then you SHOULD be able to trade for a better back---since "they" have his value set higher thn yours obviously----sux they vetoed it, but you should be able to get more from moss than julius now that you know hes inflated comparitively to your standards. good luck. If i misunderstood and you were trying to get Moss, then that sux, but theres nothing you can do since they already voted on it-or the commish did--either way you signed up and have to follow the rules, but you can always try to make the trade agin... rattsass
If I am holding Randy Moss right about now (and thank god I'm not) I would be feeling uneasy. And if I thought I had a receiver that could match Moss numbers (or come close) the rest of the way, and I had a hole at running back, why wouldn't I try to trade Moss for a running back. Granted, I would have tried to get more than Jones for Moss, but maybe the guy shopped around and that was the only thing he could get done. Not enough info to make a real decision on this one, but I hate leagues rejecting trades because the guy that THINKS Jones is going to be better than Moss is blocked from moving on that hunch. And that is not exactly what the game is all about.

He put up 10 receptions last week with that hurt back. Tom will get more comfortable as the season progresses. I'm not worried about Moss at all. Henry Muto
Moss leads the NFL in targets with 40. Also Moss says "he is getting healthier every day" in regards to his back The top 250 list is not my own. My last thought on this issue...I think if you trade Moss your going to end up regretting by season's end.

rattsass
According to this opinion, Burleson should have been drafted end of the 6th round. But before the season most sites (except the Huddle) basically discarded Burleson. If I would have traded Burleson for Housh before the season started people would have been in an uproar. But the guy trading Housh would look like a genius right about now. This game is about looking forward, like I was when I drafted Burleson in the 11th round. Other peoples opinions don't mean squat in my final player analysis. Why should 10 guys get to decide what I do with my team?
