driveby
I can't believe the people at GM are dumb enough to think anyone would really believe this. Exhibiting quite a lot of gall, General Motors is trying to spin the public with an ad campaign launched last week based on breathtakingly misleading information. TimC
We should kick you American hating communists right back to the Soviet Union and let you drive those cars, Red. One day, Toyotas and Hondas and BMW's will rule the world and Socialists like Comrade driveby will finally be happy. moneymakers
Its all about hope and change. Now do you believe the commercial?
matt770
I saw that commercial yesterday and did think it must be hogwash. Last I heard, they were in desperate straits. Next year's version will feature GM CEO Obama walking the assembly line, thanking taxpayers for helping to purchase the company.
driveby
The author says the commercial is setting the stage for another GM loan/bailout.

rajncajn
Update. Blatantly lie to the American public... It's how officials get elected, why shouldn't to corporations cash in as well?
bpwallace49
Paul Ryan calling BS on GM I love that guy . . . he seriously could/should be the savior of the Republican party. I think he would easily beat Obama in the next Prez election . .
Azazello1313
Update. I guess one of the benefits of GM being owned and operated by politicians is that they, GM, get a sudden infusion of know-how into how lying can boost your reputation and profit.
