Footballjoe
(Rotoworld) Rams acquired WR Isaac Bruce from the 49ers in advance of Bruce announcing his retirement. Analysis: He'll retire on Wednesday. A borderline Hall of Famer, Bruce has some serious credentials. The 16-year veteran holds every major Rams receiving record, ranks fifth in league history in receptions (1,024), and is second in all-time receiving yards (15,208). He is ninth all-time in receiving touchdowns (91). Our guess is that Bruce will get into Canton eventually, but not on the first ballot. While his statistics can't be disputed, Bruce may be viewed by some voters as something of a product of the Rams' system. He never made an All-Pro team, and it's hard to say he was every truly dominant.
Scooby's Hubby
1) is Torry Holt considered to have had the better career in StLouis? and 2) if the answer to the above if yes, then Bruce probably is not a HOF. True? 3) if no, then Holt does not belong in the HOF 4) they both belong? Edited June 8, 2010 by Scooby's Hubby

Chief Dick
Anybody know what the 9'ers got in return? I'm guessing a 6th or 7th round pick, but I can't find any info on the net. Any San Fran homers to help out?

Any San Fran homers to help out? Not a Niner homer But a conditional 2012 draft pick in the case he did play this year.
