Cowboyz1
I am very proud of my Boys today. They went into Skins land and found a way to win. As I said before I never use this game as a measuring stick for either team because it's always a knock down drag out fight to win. That said, special teams gave the Skins two scores but Grossman was making some very good throws today. Looks like Romo has turned the corner. When the running game was less then it has been the past few games he could have pressed but he didn't. He not only made some great throws today to Bryant and Witten but his best throws were the ones that sailed out of bounds to Robinson and the ones that were outside and incomplete just outside the outstretched hands of his recievers, falling harmlessly to the ground. Romo is really playing well and protecting the ball. That is the Romo that can win it really counts. Nice to see Bennett step up and make some key grabs too. But the best feelings I had today (besides Gano's miss) was that great feeling when Romo bought time then found Bryant to get into field goal range, and our Kicker trotted out on the field. I just knew we had won that game on that play because for once we have a kicker that can drill a big kick. Hat's off to you Dan Bailey, your a sight for sore eyes. We finally found us a kicker that can kick. 6-4 scratching and clawing our way to the Division lead. Great win Cowboys. Now on to the Thanksgiving day for yet another should be W but Miami is all of sudden playing tough. Sure glad it's at home. Let's go Boys the East within grasp. Cowboyz1
This was a week for Good Romo. However, Bad Romo can return at any time. Actually that's 6 weeks of good even great Romo. Funny how Rivers and Eli have been pick machines but nobody seems to care to rip them. Dallas is still America's team I suppose cause America gets all up in arms when Romo throws one. SheikYerbuti
Just as I predicted. Squeak one out against a bottom feeder and anoint them. Hylarious. You should be thanking the league schedule makers for dooming the Giants to lose the division, and the fact they can't beat a Vick-less Eagles. I hope Dal goes to the NFC champ game and gets buzzsawed by GB.
stevegrab
I guess winning does cure (or hide) everything. If Gano makes the FG and Cowboys lose are you still proud? I think Grits said it better in the other thread "MIA-DAL smells like a stinker to me ... the way Dallas played today Miami will eat them up and spit them out"

I just hope we can get another W at home in Miami and our QB stays healthy the way QB's are going down with season ending injuries, I just hope there is a Championship game with two starting QB's that were starters to begin the season. You should know divisional games in the East are strange so it doesn't surpise me that Philly beat the Giants in the least. Sure glad they did though! However, what does surpise me is that VY was able to make the plays he did to win and the fact you would have the gall to come in here and talk smack just after getting beat by Vince Young at home. Nobody's annointing anybody, but if you want to annoint us Winners in OT, in Washington, then sure we'll take it. Check your neck, the hot air you feel is the Cowboys breath. WareandTerr
the cowboys schedule last year was brutal..they played the saints and packers. it all comes around...im sick of the easy schedule talk. i bet no one thought the saints would lose to the rams or the giants would lose to vick-less eagles... easy games right? Darkhorse1251
Usually I'm one of the first ones to rip on Romo. But he's been playing really well. My team definitely thanks him.
detlef
Dan Bailey is a stud. I picked up Bailey when he came off his bye for a couple reasons. 1) He seems pretty money and I wouldn't have to worry about PK again for the rest of the year 2) Dallas seems to choke away enough red zone chances to keep him busy 3) If I'm going to have one player on a team I simply do not like, it may as well be the kicker. So, yesterday was perfect. They go into OT and I'm happy either way. Either my boy gets me 3 more points or Dallas loses to effing DC, which would be outstanding. Truly a win-win. Of course, Dallas could have won in OT on a TD, but that's pretty rare.

Giants have 2 chances coming up. We'll see

Furd
Didn't he already turn the corner that one time that he rallied his team to victory with two punctured lungs, four broken ribs and a lacerated spleen?

Seahawks21
Do we really need to go over how Romo has earned the reputation he has, and how that is different than Eli or Rivers? I'll give you a hint, it has very little to do with being a "pick-machine". The Boys beat one of the worst teams in the NFL in overtime=Championship. historymike
For the record, I am not a Romo hater. I might - MIGHT - agree that Romo is a top-tier fantasy QB, but he has won exactly one playoff game in his entire career (1-3 lifetime in the postseason). I will consider him an elite NFL QB when he at least wins an NFC championship. Edited November 22, 2011 by historymike

That was the last corner, there are a few more corners he needs to turn yet you know. Keep up will ya. Do we really need to call out "recalculating" every time he turns one. And by the way, as a poster already mentioned, it was an elongate nut sack, not a lacerated spleen you dope. By my calculations he has at least two more turns, getting Jamie Dukes to take a swing on his nut sack and winning a super bowl. You'll certainly know when both happen. Who has more TD's passing with his member then you have all season. So step off Seadog..........You need to refocus on whats important now, and that's getting to win number 5 before the season runs out.............. Quick stat, Slip has more TD's (19) then your entire team (17). I didn't even mention how hard and long and deep, T. Jackson sucks. So before you go kicking the dog next door, have a look at your own mangy mutt............
