darin3
Weeden is a better QB than Colt McCoy who is simply a game manager and nothing more then that. I think Weeden wins the job outright and helps out both the value of Richardson and Little, giving that O a bit of spark Yeah, I'm a Horn fan but a realist. McCoy was never going to be an elite NFL starter. Not to say Weeden will be, but he's more "prototypical" and with the weapons the Browns are starting to amass, they may actually have a halfway decent offense in a couple years. I've seen these in the past and thought they were a little setup but this one was impressive if you ask me. He was throwing darts at clay pigeons going pretty fast. I think this guy could be the real deal.
BeeR
PS is there a site online that actually puts up the picks very shortly after they're made? ESPN and NFL.com blow major chunks.

BeeR
Trivia: Riley Reiff at pick #23 is the lowest the first Big Ten player has been selected in the common draft era. Minnesota tackle John Williams was also the #23 pick in 1968 by the Baltimore Colts.
Azazello1313
NE/DEN trade? looks like it. I woulda liked to see them take hightower, but moving back may be wise. move back a little and look at someone like kendall reyes.

darin3
Patriots with two very nice picks here at the end of the first. Jones and Hightower could become difference-makers.

Menudo
DeCastro - I'm happy with this pick. Mayock said he is very good at pulling, so, he should fit well into their offense, which is constantly using pulling guards.

WashingtonD
Great pick for the Patriots! Two very smart trade ups to acquire some guys that I think can make a difference in a very average defense

darin3
Texans need a secondary WR threat... Randle? Or hmm, Hill has fallen. Jeffrey also a possibility. Edited April 27, 2012 by darin3
BeeR
NE moving up for minor draft picks. Once again they show their shrewdness in the draft IMO.
WashingtonD
Describing the Patriots as a base 4/3 team is unfair, they run so many different sets alternating back from 3/4 and 4/3 I don't think they have a "base" (sorry just reacting to the commentators
Brentastic
NE gives up a 4th for that. It's amazing the CHIPS AHOY! other teams give them

Saban and Alabama tend to do the same.
