Azazello1313 Posted April 27, 2012 Share Posted April 27, 2012 what a terrible night for the denver broncos. they move down from 25 to 36, and as far as I can tell all they got out of it was pick 101 in the 4th round. all their other picks are the same. according to "the chart", the 101 pick is worth 96 points. the dropoff from 25 to 36 is 180 points. they basically flushed the value of a 4th round pick down the toilet. looks like they came in with a crappy gameplan and panicked. I don't buy it. it looks to me like they've completely locked in to one position (DT), and the best ones left have second round grades. so they panicked and gave away value for free. it's ironic because elway has been going around saying, we're not going to draft for need, we love our roster, we're going to take the best player available. they did the exact opposite. is having a terrible game plan and letting yourself get used by the patriots better than using a first round pick on a second round player? maybe so, but not by much. Ingram is gonna be a monster and immediately gives the Chargers an edge rusher they so desperately need. Fantastic pick....I'm speechless.
