Clubfoothead
I still don't understand applauding after a movie. It's a freaking movie, the actors producers, and directors can't hear your applause. This. A third vote.
Savage Beatings
Craziest audience interaction at a movie that I've ever experienced was seeing Darkman in New York City circa 1990 with approximately 90% of the audience comprised of African Americans. Holy chit did they cheer for Darkman!!!
SteelBunz
First movie I remember the audience standing and applauding and staying through the credits was Rocky.

WashingtonD
I think the theatre applauded after The Black Knight (due to Heath Ledger). I think you mean due to Martin Lawrence. This was his comeback film after all!

matt770
lol...I'm not a boom op Any thoughts about that though? Do the reels at the theaters have a wider shot that the projectionist is supposed to "crop" somehow? I've wondered about that since it happened. MikesVikes
They clapped quite loudly for War Horse but Lucky One got nothing last night.
