Scorcher
as to why the Giants should do better this time? Edited October 24, 2012 by Scorcher
Atlas
I'll take a whack at it -the Giants are playing more inspired ball than Dallas -the Giants played poorly the first game and were still in the game -Cruz won't drop 3 passes again -Dallas has lost their defensive leader as well as numerous other injuries -revenge factor -the Giants always play up (or down) to their opponent -Eli is the best 2 minute QB in the league right now -Giants have found a running game -Ogletree over achieved the first game (bastard--I had him on my bench) -its difficult to beat the same team twice in the NFL Meh...I could be wrong

The Cowboys have finally realized they are who we thought they were all along. Ghost coached and headed for perennial mediocrity, or worse. irish
Yeah, I'm a Cowboys' fan and I don't like the looks of this game at all. This feels like a 38-17 game to me. We are missing a running game with Murray out and Felix hobbled, as we turn to Tanner. Dez is WAY too inconsistent. The O-line will struggle versus that pass rush, especially without a running game. On defense, we just lost Lee, we're bringing in veteran help at safety and Cruz is gonna eat us alive! The Giants will run and pass all over us at will this weekend. Romo and the passing game might throw up solid stats along with turnovers just because they'll be chucking it the entire second half. stevegrab
Simple, the Cowboys played their best game of the year in that opening game, an inspired effort for sure. Since then they've been played poorly and the Giants have been playing much better. Basically the prior result has nothing to do with this game. Bronco Billy
Dallass sucks?
CowboysDiehard
Agree with Atlas, and will also add that the Cowboys are playing at home, where they have no advantage over anyone.
CowboysDiehard
Dallass sucks? And this, too.
Scooby's Hubby
I am actually predicting another Dallas victory this week. With Murray out, I think Romo takes advantage of a poor NYG secondary and Dallas gameplans to throw alot. Even without Sean Lee, I believe the Dallas defense is better than the NYG defense. This game will be won in the 4th Q, as usual, with Romo being the spoiler this time.

That was a nice detailed answer. I was concerned, because I have Eli and Nicks. I lost that week in that league because of that game so I was looking for a little clarification as to why the Giants were favored this week. stevegrab
If the game is going to be on Romo's back, the OL better give him some time to throw or, he'll be on his back a lot. With no running game to worry about you can bet the Giants D is going to be going after Romo.
cubdaddy
I think Dallas will look to attack through the air. The play action doesnt work without a real threat in the running game and loosing Murray and having Felix hobbled hurts. I think the Gmen will have their ears pinned back and Putting Romo on his back all day.
Atlas
And I don't believe Prince A. was in the secondary that game....he's been getting progressively better reviews each game.
