Bobby Brown
KFAN show missed huge on this I think the word they used to describe him was "pedestrian"...not exactly sure but something like that. Huge game today HUGE game Really don't understand the logic from KFAN. Any WR who is in the NFL has at least a semblance of athletic talent and ability. And being fantasy relevant is largely dependent on opportunity. Edited October 20, 2013 by Bobby Brown
Delicious_bass
Hindsight is always 20/20. Lots of question marks as some key pieces are obviously gone from Atl's O. No way to say for certain how well Douglas was going to do today. If they gave him an A grade and he went 4/39, people would be complaining about that, too. Henry Muto
They said to sit RG3 too basically they are just not having a good year. I have been listening to them for 20 years they have been off this year.
Tripleshot
I gotta eat a little crow on both Ryan and Douglas. I thought Ryan would struggle without Julio and Roddy but he's proven he can raise the level of even backups and carry his team. We'll see if it continues, but I would not be surprised now if it did. Scorcher
I stuck with Ryan this week. I am so glad the guy that has Romo wouldn't trade.
darin3
Looks like my "ridiculous expectations" were about half of what the guy could potentially do.
awahl63
Started Douglas over Reuben Randle, Martellus Bennet, and Lamar Miller. Almost swapped him out right before the noon games started.
Henry Muto
They said no chance you start Boykin either they just don't trust guys who have not shown it yet like Douglas and Boykin.
Avernus
They said to sit RG3 too basically they are just not having a good year. I have been listening to them for 20 years they have been off this year. I was shocked about Douglas myself....sat RG3 for Foles and it will probably cost me the week....even while facing the Foster opponent.... delusions of grandeur
Really don't understand the logic from KFAN. Any WR who is in the NFL has at least a semblance of athletic talent and ability. And being fantasy relevant is largely dependent on opportunity. Fantasy is somewhat dependent on opportunity, this is more true in redraft than dynasty, but guys who underperform on their opportunities (like we see all the time) end up being replaced, while guys with superior talent rise their way up the depth charts. I remember asking about Randall Cobb before he broke out, and was told that the opportunity just wasn't there, but no matter who was healthy or injured, he's been the one constant. Cream rising to the top. KFAN show missed huge on this I think the word they used to describe him was "pedestrian"...not exactly sure but something like that. Huge game today HUGE game To be fair to them, the consensus among Atlanta homers had been that Douglas couldn't be relied upon as a starter, but I've thought that was a bit harsh after the great off and preseason he's had. I'll admit I was unsure how Douglas would do if they put him outside instead of the slot, but he really rose up to the occasion. Davis had an amazing one-handed grab, and if Roddy got re-injured might be worth keeping an eye on, but I was pleased to see my dark-horse Darius Johnson get activated and show off those great hands. If Douglas continues to prove that he can work on the outside, then this guy might be the one to take a look at in really deep leagues if Roddy comes back but remains less productive. Delicious_bass
They said no chance you start Boykin either they just don't trust guys who have not shown it yet like Douglas and Boykin. Again...hindsight. What was the most positive projection anyone had for Boykin this week?
Henry Muto
Again...hindsight. What was the most positive projection anyone had for Boykin this week? Everything is hindsight...I am not in the projection business that is why I listen to shows and use sites.
buddahj
Have Douglas in 2 leagues. I started him in the one where I lost Julio. No way I was starting him in the other over Bryant, Green & Blackmon. Hopefully, some of the WR starved teams will come calling.
MTSuper7
Sat Douglas in favor of Randle, and unless Randle puts up similar numbers, I'll be staring at 3-4 after a loss. This has been a tough year.
