mrbonton
So my league just wrapped up the regular season (as of yesterday). I have of the team owners complaining that he did not make it to the playoffs (4 teams advance), when from what he sees as a better record. He shares a 7-7 record with another player. One Team is showing 4th Place & the other is 5th Place. This is the league default setting for tie breakers on final regular season standings: Head-to-Head Record (NFL-Managed Default) Divisional Winning Percentage (if your custom league uses multiple divisions) Points Scored For Points Scored Against (Most Difficult Schedule) Coin Flip The Head to Head Record for the two teams is 1-1 (tie) We did not set up divisions (so then it moves down to the points for & against) The 4th Place team has 1,285.52 FOR & 1,275.90 AGAINST The 5th Place team has 1,371.82 FOR & 1,344.68 AGAINST NFL.com is where are league is set up. So my question is... why is the team with the lower point for and against in 4th place???
keggerz
IF head to head is tied then the next tie breaker is points scored for...as commish this is where you step in and say there is a glitch and put the correct team in the playoffs. BUT you need to make sure that it's not a glitch...email support or something first...just let the league know what you are doing (emailing support). Also, make sure that the "points scored for" is not just points scored in their h2h games, but is in fact points scored for the season. It's doubtful this is the case but it is a possibility worth checking into.
stevegrab
This. I think keg and BC are spot on, check with the site and let your league know you're doing so.

Just to clarify for CD, BC, and SG, make sure "Points Scored For" doesn't just mean points scored in the 2 games they played together, which kind of makes sense since you are trying to break a tie between those two owners.
