I grabbed Hightower and Murphy who is described as a Khiry Robinson type of runner until they see who pans out. This year all of these unknowns have stepped up so I hedged my bets with both. One of the players I dropped with great pleasure was Lafell.

Why the hell did they sign Spiller if they have no sodding plan to use the bastard? :kicksrock:

Let's ask the Seattle Seahawks, who basically did the same thing with Graham. Sent their best Olineman to New Orleans and paid Graham a king's ransom for what? To watch him block for Lynch and Rawls? Mind boggling.

quite right. Makes the Seahawks trade for Graham even more mystifying. Still have no idea why the Saints signed CJ Spiller. He never got his shot.

I somewhat agree, in that he hasn't seen many carries per game to get in a flow, but he has had 31 carries on the year with 108 yards and no TDs to show for them. He has double the number of receiving yards and 2 receiving TDs on 29 receptions, which tells me that they never intended for him to be anything but a receiving back. I'm sure it's killing him as much as anyone, especially when he sees the run heavy offense in Buffalo putting up big numbers week in and week out.

based on this, if I were looking to capitalize on the Saints possible loss of Ingram, I'd roll the dice on Tim Hightower before Spiller. Not that either of them would do all that much anyway.

I have a bye week for the first week of the playoffs, but a likely adversary for week 15 has Ingram. Just picked up Hightower more to prevent him from replacing Ingram than me actually using Hightower. (a non playoff team had Spiller, and that roster has been locked.)
