Fantasy Fallout from the Ingram trade for Houston RBs

DJ's take nice little bump up, was already the PPR guy to own and will now take on even more carries. Lindsay will as well especially in carries.

My thoughts for the remaining of the season based on the production through 7 weeks and percentage of each touching the ball (carries, targets, receptions, TDs), then dividing Ingram's percentage of touches between DJ and Lindsay (barring Houston not adding a RB).

 DJ - Top 20-25 RB

94 carries, 370 yards, 1-2 TDs

30 rec, 250 yards, 2-3 TDs

Total PPR pts - 110-122

Standard - 80-92

 Lindsay - Top 40-50 RB

130 carries, 340 yards, 3-4 TDs

6 rec, 75 yards, 1 TD

Total PPR pts - 71.5-77.5

Standard - 65.5-71.5

Just want to clarify, those numbers are what they'll do in the remainder of the season, over the next 10 games.

They've got some decent matchups coming too, based on the rankings CBS shows for opponents based on fantasy points scored at the RB position

WK9-MIA(27), 12-NYJ(32), 14-SEA(29), 15-JAX(25), 16-LAC(30).

I had drafted Lindsay then released him when I saw he wasn't doing much and thought I had a better option. Now with all my RB injuries (Carson, Hunt, Jacobs) I'm starting Booker & Penny and might consider grabbing Lindsay off waivers.

ETA As mentioned elsewhere DJ was also available so I grabbed him. Still might add Lindsay at some point, he'll have more value than Penny once Carson returns.

You're only projecting DJ to get 1-2 rushing TDs the rest of the season?  That seems.... low.  Even with as terrible as the Texans are.

Yup I could see Lindsay with more and I'm hoping DJ gets more as I own him in a big league. But I'm figuring him for 3-5 TDs between rushing and receiving and that seems about right for me. Now, that's been without much of a QB, so all of those averages from the first 7 weeks could change and for the positive. Let's hope!  I just created a statistical baseline.

well there's the more important fall out for Kamara owners here.

How many games until he resumes the role of taking TDs from Kamara?

Unfortunately, probably immediately.
