Justin Jefferson agrees to 4-year extension

Recommended Posts

4 years at $35M per year is a lot of money!  Hopefully JJ McCarthy pans out and the Vikings can make a run.  NFC North is going be interesting to watch the next few years with the Lions and Packers poised to be very good! Bears are full of young potential.   Unfortunately, I feel like the Vikings have the farthest to go! :(

I bet that made CeeDee Lamb smile.

Smile? He's doing the show me the money dance from Jerry Maguire! He's inviting all his friends over for a Cowboy hold over the coals roast. There will be no meat left on that bone when he's done.

If he puts up a great year, another team will be willing to pay him. His salary will have to match Jefferson, at minimal.

Was reading a story yesterday that Chase would be looking for a similar $35M/year deal. Bengals also have to pay Higgins, who has asked for a trade, but the Bengals seem reluctant to do that.

Higgins just signed the franchise tag offer.

and the deadline for signing a long-term offer had passed, so he is likely to sign with another team next year.

Then he has every motivation to stay on the field and produce big numbers this year.
