I am watching it now. That would be bad.

As soon as he was ruled out I dropped him as my bench QB. Worried with that injury history. Picked up Mayfield for my bench/bye-week guy now

Worried about my Tyreek now though.

You can drop him now? Usually the player's status locks at the start of the game until the waiver period of the next week.

Depends on the league, but for whatever reason one league I'm in you can drop bench players even if they played. I have used that to my advantage a number of times.

It's a bummer. I can't prognosticate anything but from a human perspective I think the guy has one more chance and if he gets another one anytime soon should probably hang it up. You could make a good case for doing it now. He did a poor job of avoiding contact on that, he really didn't need to get hit like that. For it to happen to a guy who knows he needs to avoid that it is concerning. I have Achane and he will take a hit I'm sure but yes Hill and Waddle are the ones to really be concerned about.

Hard to make the 'hang it up call' after signing up for all that $$$. Life more important than bank though.

The crazy thing is that he didn't get hit that hard. It was more like he ran into the defender on a typical football play. It was Hamler out of all people.

Poor kid. The irony is crazy.

At least now people are talking about his health instead of his horrid performance last night and if they should have given him that $$$.

HC looked furious. Tua still refusing to go down safely.  Worse backups than most teams in the NFL too.

Agreed on Tannehill. I think even if Tua is playing it makes sense to have some insurance

Tom Brady finally going to get to Miami???

I would never judge a contract by one awful performance, it's sad that people go there. With that being said, his contract situation is complicated. Sportrac covers it well with all of the options Miami and Tua has. I'm sure there's an insurance policy on the contract also.

He reminds me of Jordan Reed. Just poor awareness when it comes to protecting his head. I think he'll be back, that hit wasn't bad. But they may want to change the game plan to protect him from himself.
