budlitebrad
He would be better off using the $6,000 to pay off the refs next season.

godtomsatan
only a seahawks fan would drop $6k to get 15 minutes of fame. 1332539 Uh, "The T-Man" is the #1 rated morning DJ in the city. The ad prominantly features the radio station he works for. The billboards are owned by Clear Channel Outdoor Media. The radio station is owned by Clear Channel Communications. This isn't costing anyone anything.
slovak
This just goes to show what a to show what a sorry excuse seattle is for a football town, they lose the only superbowl they have ever been in and act like it is the end of the world. get there and win it a coulple times and it won't be a big deal losing 1. NoSupe4You
And yet it is so much easier to be a good winner than a good loser and Pittsburgh can't seem to handle that, what does that say about your city. Of course I understand it is a little more difficult to be a good winner when you know your victory is tainted.
louisville lip
Not that it means anything at this point, but as I watched "This week in the NFL" on HBO last week, I heard the Seahawks' radio team's comments on the holding penalty that Madden questioned during the game. At the time of the play, Warren Moon was heard to say soemthing like (paraphrasing): "Any time the defender (Haggins) gets behind the blocker (Locklear) and the blocker reaches out to stop the defender, that'll be called holding every time." To be sure, Moon did not doubt that the holding call was absolutely correct. I'm just curious how Seahawks and the Seattle media have responded to Moon's on-air commentary. Has Moon been fired? Has he made any comments to back off his on-air commentary to appease Seattle's fans?

I saw many more stories from other markets then I ever saw from Seattle, either printed or OTA. Why this is, I don't know.
H8tank
Isn't starting threads, weeks after the fact about the subject at hand, indicative of not letting it go? Bingo. Furd
You really think that many have forgotten when the Bears blew out the Pats?? 1333216 Well, you had McMahon. You had the Fridge. You had Payton. The 46 defense. The Super Bowl Shuffle. The Bears were a dominating team, with New England relatively mediocre. The game may have been a blowout, but there was no controversy. We saw an outstanding team win the game. This year you had two relatively mediocre teams. Little excitement. All kinds of controversy. The score of this years game was closer, but that doesn't mean it was a better game. This years Superbowl was just painful to watch - a godawful ugly game. This game was especially and bizarrely awful on all levels. 1333349 It did have its troubling spots, but find common ground with me here (not that that's as momo as it might sound) -- at very least, the AREl to HWard was sweeeeet ... lets take joy in that single brilliantly entertaining moment, drink the koolaid, enjoy the offseason, and mock Ricky, TO, and Vick incessantly. You'll get us next year.
Seahawks21
Hines is a freak. Guys I apologize for all the crying coming out of my city. Its downright embarrassing. I actually wrote the "T-Man" an e-mail explaining why people look at Seattle fans as bad fans. He replied that I had no passion. Sports radio is unlistenable. WAAAAA!! WAAAAAHH!!! Still crying!! Grow up, we played horrible. I would have felt a lot better blaming the refs if we hadn't given up huge, game winning plays. I can't even talk to my friends anymore. They are practically ready to disown me for bringing up small things like how the Seahawks were 5-17 on 3rd down. Etc. etc. etc. etc..... Warren Moon was right. Offsides or not, the rusher got around Locklear. Locklear reached for him. You see it called all the time. I was a lineman. Any lineman definitely knows not to put your hands where he put them. It is a conscious reach. As was Darrell Jackson putting his hand right on a chest. The Hasselbeck illegal block should have gotten somebody fired. Bottom line, if the Seahawks were really the Champions they would have won that game.
