Skippy
It takes a woman to man up for the Birds. DW - that is a nice sig that I would be very ashamed to wear but I think you may be at the max. I'm pretty sure there is a limit to how long those sigs can be.

Menudo
Hell yeah why not...I'm in too. And the sig line for the steelers will be:Â "Yes it's true that I am a bed wetting mama's boy who also believed the Seahawks got hosed in SuperBowl 40. I was too ashamed to speak out because I am a bed wetting mama's boy who looks like this and can never get a date. I believe in my heart the Steelers are a bunch of losers and the Hawks were the real winners of SuperBowl 40. I am a Hawks fan and will always be a Hawks fan no matter what I may say here at the huddle..." how is this for a starter sig line...add to it as you feel fit hawk fans..I'm gonna take this bet. I dont care if I lose. I love my Hawks and will stand up with them no matter the odds. Â edit: I dont need any stinking points...This is a straight up win or loss no points favored either way. Â Way to step up DW. We still need an avatar though.
godtomsatan
Goddamn, you guys are STILL arguing about SB XL? Â Menudo can't let it go. bushwacked
Goddamn, you guys are STILL arguing about SB XL? Â Two separate Stealer fans still feeling the need to discuss the superbowl reffing without any participation from Seahawk fans, is definitely indicative of something, but it's hardly an argument. theprofessor
So far, it appears it is Skippy and myself going against a Colts fan betting on the Seahawks....... Am I missing anyone ? Â Â I would love to see if you would be spewing your slop if the Steelers had to play the Hawks at the "Nest" instead of at home. Hell, you can't beat the Cardinals in front of their home crowd, just imagine the dismantling of the Steeler's in front of the loudest fans in the NFL

Pitbull739
Let's get this straight. There is no rivalry between the Steelers and Seahawks. They have played several less than memorable games over the years, never once in the playoffs before they got booted to the NFC, and only one Super Bowl appearance together. Just because Menudo and Bushleague have waged their feud on this site (that we grew tired of about a year and a half ago) does not make it a rivalry. It is an interconference game between two 3-1 teams. It will be a good game, and I know what side I cheer for, but there is no rivalry and no need for a sig line bet. Seahawks21
Wait a sec? Has anybody made that bet with Menudo? Pittsburgh doesn't stand a chance. I would want to create my own sigline as I can be far more difficult on the Steelers that the one I read, but I'm definitely in. I don't know what kinda pansies you found, but I'm your huckleberry. Hugh B Tool
The Seahawks had a 10+ year waiting list for season tickets before Behring successfully dismantled our team and unsuccessfully tried to move them. I have no doubt that Seattle fans are generally more fickle than east coast fans. For one, history develops a more dedicated fan base, and Hawks are still an infant in relative terms. But mainly, I couldn't really give a rip about what a transplanted football fan in WA state thinks about my favorite team or the fan base. I enjoy football and cheering for my favorite team and your routine criticism of Seahawk fans won't change that one iota. Â Spain gives fishing lessons, you should take some. Â Â and your excuses prove my point. I was always able to get tickets at the Marshmellow, always, even before I moved up here. Â last year when the Packs visited there was an awful lot of green there for such a tough ticket to get. In fact the only team with tradition in this town you clowns are laying down while they get stole right under your eyes. Is Qwest one of the loudest and hence toughest to play in? ABSOLUTELY especially when the Hawks are winning. Will it be the easiest ticket to get in town when they go through consecutive 8-8 seasons...... well you deep down know the answer, don't ya? Â Oh and BTW , again I don't need to fish because you bite on swivels.

Menudo
Just seeing how much you're willing to back your team. You seem so sure..... Â Nope. I'm really not that sure. I don't know if people actually read the stuff I write (maybe they just ignore me at this point ), but, I've been pretty level-headed about the Steelers this season. Do I expect them to win this weekend at home against the Seahawks.......yes, I do. Would I be completely shocked if they lost......absolutely not. I think these are two good teams and I expect a good game. Â Put it this way, if I were to leave my homerism aside, I would probably be betting on the Seahawks (+6). That will NEVER happen, as I would never bet against the Steelers, and I rarely bet on them, due to my superstiion. Â I just thought a sigline / avatar bet would be fun, considering the recent history of the teams and the animosity on these message boards.........nothing more, nothing less. Menudo
I'm pretty superstitious as well and I don't think that the Steelers ever won me a sig bet but if you want in you can have the action from me. That is unless you want to hide behind Menudo to squirm out of it. I'm in on the Steeler end.  Just to clarify, I'm not sure if I would call myself superstitious.........but, I'm definitely a little stitious. The two NFC wins are over Oakland and over Miami. The average margin of victory in the six AFC wins is 13 points.
